ALL levels are based on age as well as ability. Students are placed with the best intentions of the faculty and the hope that the student is challenged and not frustrated. Please feel free to call the owner to discuss your child’s level.

It is strongly recommended that all students take 1 Ballet class, as this is the basis for all dance forms.

Students must be technically and physically ready to begin Pointe work. The teacher will decide when each student is ready for beginning Pointe class. Two Ballet classes are required to take a Pointe class.

Levels

Level 1 -- 2 ½ -4 years
Level 2 -- 5-6 years
Level 3 -- 7-9 years
*Level 3 and up are by age and/or ability*
Level 4 -- 10-13 years
Level 5 -- 13 and up
Level 6 -- By ability

Tumbling

Beginning Tumbling 2 ½ -5 years
Intermediate Tumbling 6-11 years
Advanced Tumbling 12 and up

Teen Dance

Teen dance starts at age 11 and is available for children who are just beginning or have had little dance experience.

Hip Hop

Level 3 -- 7-9 years
Level 4 -- 10-13 years
Level 5 and 6 -- ability

Turns and Jumps

Level 4 - Beginner (ages 7 and up - technique and break down)
Level 5 - Intermediate (ages 10 and up - also based on ability)

Level 6 - Advanced (based on ability only)

Musical Theater

Beg - 7-9 years
Int - 10-13 years
Adv - 14 & up
